SAP DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS SOLUTIONS - Montréal - Hybride
Reporting to the Vice-President of Enterprise Applications Delivery, the IT Director, Enterprise Applications Solutions will be responsible for the functional design, development and implementation of technology solutions supporting all ALDO brands. The leader in this role will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing technology team that delivers innovative, agile and high-quality technology solutions in a fast-paced environment. In addition, this position will be responsible for partnering with business leaders in defining the opportunities for technology to drive business results, and then driving those plans through execution to realization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for strategy, development, and health of owned applications. This includes partnering closely with the IT Enterprise Applications Delivery Director to support all related application architecture, infrastructure and deployment practices.

Determine and define the functional scope of application projects that introduce new features and functionalities and/or improve upon existing features or functionalities to maximize technology footprint.

Research and recommend “best practices” based on industry research and personal experience relative to the assigned domain.

Partner with banner business owners to assemble and prioritize strategic roadmap initiatives specific to the banner of business, as well as incorporating companywide objectives into the plan.

Identify and solicit internal recommendations for application improvements and incorporate in discussions regarding product roadmap. Perform cost/benefit analyses of proposed enhancements to support priority and feasibility.

Partner with stakeholders to create supporting user stories, documents, and specifications for these projects/enhancements (e.g. ROI analyses, functional specifications, use cases, usability scenarios).

Build relationships and act as liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and management groups to reach consensus on specifications for new features and functionality.

Deliver projects within the scheduled cost, time and quality parameters; Ensure capital spend goals and optimize IT spend through proper resource allocation, good functional requirements and optimization opportunities.

Measure and track project performance and provide the organization with post-launch results analysis

Manage a team of business analysts and managers supporting banner roadmap priorities. Enhance the technical and behavioral skills of associates through development plans and upskilling / training.

Work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are proceeding according to schedule and meeting functional and design specifications. Participate in Design, Development, Quality Assurance, and UAT cycles and sign off on all development projects before “go live” implementation.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor related to Information Technology or equivalent
-
5 or more years of experience in a similar role
-
5 or more years of experience in software ideation process and development.

5 or more years of experience in managing vendors, partners, suppliers, and technical teams.

Advanced knowledge in delivering Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Chain & Logistics solutions.

Functional understanding of the following SAP modules: SCM/MM/SD/EWM

Understands go-to-market processes and unique variations across different business models comprising retail, wholesale, and drop ship models.

Able to drive consensus on technology recommendations to support each of these different businesses.

Understands the jobs associated with these functions at the lowest level as well as at the executive level such that requirements can be developed for all levels of the organization.

Experience with multiple software development methodologies, including legacy waterfall, and agile methods

Extensive understanding of the business processes within your assigned domain, including “best practice” ways of working

Excellent working knowledge of the technology options available or used within the assigned domain by the business community · Ability to develop the business functional specifications and use cases.
